A man from California has been found hiding out in a secured area of O’Hare International Airport. He reportedly found a badge in the airport that belonged to an operations manager and then decided to hide in the airport for three months. Why?? He said he was too afraid to fly due to Covid-19. Aditya Singh has been charged with misdemeanor theft and felony criminal trespass to a restricted area of an airport.
Cook County Judge Susana Ortiz had quite the reaction when she heard about the allegations:
“So if I understand you correctly, you’re telling me that an unauthorized, nonemployee individual was allegedly living within a secure part of the O’Hare airport terminal from Oct. 19, 2020, to Jan. 16, 2021, and was not detected? I want to understand you correctly.”
